Looking for Weymouth Site
Looking for a Woodland or Outdoor Learning Site In or Near Weymouth
I'm looking for a suitable outdoor space to become the long-term home of Bugs, Bones & Botany CIC's Home Education and Forest Science sessions.
Ideally, I'm looking for a site with a mix of habitats, including some woodland, where children can explore, learn and connect with nature through hands-on science, ecology, bushcraft, wildlife discovery and outdoor learning.
A few things I'd love to find:
- Some woodland (even a small area)
- Meadow, grassland or other open space
- Plenty of opportunities for wildlife and nature study
- Reasonable access and somewhere nearby to park
- Potential for low-impact activities such as campfires, shelter building and nature-based learning
A few acres is plenty. I'm far more interested in habitat variety, character and long-term potential than a huge site.
I am fully insured, DBS checked, First Aid trained and experienced in delivering outdoor education safely and responsibly.
