Welcome to Bugs, Bones & Botany CIC
not your normal forest school
We offer child-led outdoor sessions that blend nature play with real science. From bug hunting and den building to skeletons, ecosystems and hands-on experiments, every session is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect children with the natural world.
While many sessions are perfect for younger children, Bugs, Bones & Botany also offers workshops and experiences for older children, teens and adults. These sessions dive deeper into subjects such as anatomy, forensics, ecology and investigation techniques – bringing science to life in a hands-on, engaging way.
Workshops can be delivered to schools, home education groups and organisations, or booked as part of our events programme.
Whether you’re joining us for regular sessions, holiday clubs or specialist workshops, expect muddy hands, big questions, and plenty of discovery.
